Paints Re-Sign All-Star Cam Gravelle
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, have re-signed 2025 Prospect League All-Star infielder Cam Gravelle for the upcoming 2026 season, which begins May 26.
A Smithville, Ontario native, Gravelle hit .321 with the Paints last summer with a pair of home runs, seven doubles, four triples and 29 RBIs. Gravelle walked 38 times and swiped 28 bases on 33 tries. In his first game last season, Gravelle stole a season-high five bases in a 9-4 win at Johnstown.
Gravelle is playing this spring at SUNY Niagara, where he's off to a hot start batting .522 with a home run and eight RBIs through his first eight games (as of March 9). The infielder previously played for Toledo, where he hit .208 with four extra-base hits in 22 games for the Rockets as a freshman.
A versitile infielder, Gravelle played shortstop, second base and third base extensively for the Paints last summer, factoring into 18 double plays and recording 116 asssists over 49 games.
