Paints Add FSCJ Pitcher Cayden Robinson

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The back-to-back Prospect League champion Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, have signed pitcher Cayden Robinson for the upcoming 2024 season, which begins May 28.

Currently in his freshman season at Flrodia State College at Jacksonville, Robinson has already seen success on the mound. The 6-1, 170 pound righthander currently owns a 3.22 ERA over 10 appearances, including nine starts. In 44 2/3 innings pitched, Robinson has struck out 35 batters while walking just 18 and is holding a WHIP of 1.46. 

Robinson is a Fleming Island, Florida, native, where he helped the Golden Eagles to a 16-9 record in his senior season in 2023. On the mound, he went 7-1 with a 1.42 ERA, striking out 71 in 49 1/3 innings en-route to being named All-District, District Player of the Year, All-Clay County, Perfect Game Florida All-American Honorable Mention and All-First Coast. Robinson was also rated as a Top 1000 national prospect by Perfect Game for the 2023 class.
