2023 Roster: Brayden White

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Chillicothe Paints announce the re-signing of catcher Brayden White for the upcoming 2023 season, which begins Wednesday, May 31, on the road against the Lafayette Aviators.

Currently a sophomore at the University of Toledo, White has played in 25 games this spring, including 28 starts, and is hitting .309 with six doubles, three home runs and 19 RBIs. Over two seasons with the Rockets, White owns a career .291 average over 54 games.

White is a native of Westerville, Ohio, and a graduated of Westerville South High School, where he was twice named All-Conference and was named Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year after hitting .480 with five home runs and 39 RBIs his senior season. White also garnered First-Team All-District and First-Team All-Ohio honors, while also being named a Nartional High School Baseball Coaches Association "Fab 150 All-American".

The Chillicothe Paints open the home portion of their schedule Thursday, June 1, at VA Memorial Stadium against the Champion City Kings at 7:05 p.m. Draft beer will be just $2 for Thirsty Thursday and fans will be treated to a postgame Fireworks Extravaganza following the game.
