Paints ink former Twins farmhand hurler The Chillicothe Paints have come to terms with right handed pitcher,
Luis
Carreras (6-3, 220) for the 2008 season.
Carreras signed with the Minnesota Twins organization
in 2006 and enjoyed a successful rookie season, posting a 32.9 ERA
while pitching 29,2 innings. Last year, he pitched for Brockton in
the Can-Am League, working 60.1 innings and finishing with a 5-4
record.
Carreras, age 24, resides in San Dimas, California and
played four years at CalPoly Pamona College.
